Thanksgiving Dinner!

I gave mine steak, a can of chicken cat food, some fresh homemade bread, tomatoe, lettuce, spinach, corn, topped off with warm cranberries

Wow! My girls didn't get anything that good.
Just oats and corn lol.
Tomorrow they get lettuce.

9 Volt has a wee silver tray I bought last month from the dollar store so I put just a wee dab of everything we had. He considers mealtime a social event and gets bent if we're eating and he's not, even if he's just had his crumble. On the platter is some bits of turkey, a splotch of cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes with giblet gravy (NOM), green bean casserole (the onions fished out, not sure I trust them), and a dab of stuffing. In the photo, he'd just hopped over from "his" couch and already had taters on his beak. ;D After that sampling, he chowed the stuffing down and didn't even eat any of the rest!

Also, my coffee is to his right--there is a LID on it because the little punk WILL steal it! (Or poop in it)

My dogs apparently have more interest in the lettuce than my hens.
But oh well, it was going to be composted anyway

What happened to his toes?

He is a rescue and had ALL sorts of issues! =( His beak was so long, too, he looked like Gonzo from the Muppets! He's a doll, though, and I don't mind a moment of the extra care. If the foot thing had been caught when he was a chick, the experts say it could have been fixed. (There's some little boots you can make out of duct tape to get them going in the right direction)
