Thanksgiving Hatch- Anyone want to join in?

MY BABY JUST HATCHED!!!!! My first chick to hatch EVER and my hens first eggs to boot. Now I just need to wait on my other egg to get moving.

This is the best luck I've ever had with shipped eggs. I think picking them up at the PO instead of having the mailman drive them all over gravel roads first really helped. They were packed great too. Woooo hooo!

The only thing is- right now I can't tell the rock from the ameracaunas- they're all platinum colored

Maybe when they dry I'll be able to see those fluffy cheeks!

I got one longcrower out with more pips! My little buckeye can't wait for the company!

how long does it take for them to fluff out. My little guy looks wet a little still. And it's 4 hours later.

Still nothing this morning. I went in first thing to check and..... I was so disappointed. maybe when I get home from work there will be something. They are not due till Friday but everyone else's is coming early so thought mine would too.

i still have no signs of hatching... no pips no peeps nothing. all of the eggs were dancing around last night when i went to bed. today they are very quiet. hope that is a sign that they will be pipping zipping and hatching soon.

Wow I missed alot yesterday! And today is pie day so I will have to pop in when I can. Congrats everyone! Neferset that duckie is so sweet!

I only have one pip so far. I hope I haven't messed up anything. I really want these chicks. I can barely stand to be in the same room with the eggs because I want some action and NOW.

Uhhh this is so hard.

Yep! I'll bet that's it. There are 2 more this morning! Pics later. I am especially pleased. These are my first Delawares from my own birds' eggs.​
