My 4 day old chicks just sucked down a moth. I went out to check on them and they were running around and chirpping up a storm. I finally saw what it was all about, a moth had made the mistake of entering their house. They tore it in 2 and sucked it down before I could get it. My question is, will this hurt them in anyway? I have not put any chick grit in there yet. Guess i will be getting some tomorrow. I do have plenty of sand outside, or should i hold off for chick grit?
