I know people dont help chicks out of the eggs and I know better, BUT I had a bad hatch this time ( new homebuilt bator) and only had 24 out of 124 hatch. Well I was going to clean out the hatcher today and make room for the next 124, But nnnooooo 1 decided to pip and it took it all day. it was almost out backwards. like his butt was stcking out of the egg. It was like that for 12 hrs so I decided to help... BAD IDEA the poor thing is curved like a slippery road sign and its feet are closed and curved under.. Now I feel bad cause hes in there PEEP PEEP PEEP .. I really dont think it will make it... should I cull him to end its misery?? or see if he straightens out??? I think I had a low temp like 94-95 incubation would this cause deformities and a bad hatch?
