Are you sure it didn't just fall off while you were driving? I've noticed they adhere better when the car is really clean. The backs of the magnets can get dirty, too, and have to be cleaned periodically.

I had one that was shaped like a paw print and said" Sleeps With Dogs". I parked at the grocery store and came out to find it missing with a note under my wiper that accused me of all sorts of nasty depraved behaviour . The note said they were going to call the police and have me arrested for my clearly deviant behaviour. I couldnt believe it. What kind of person thinks that way?

. I bought it because my dogs do sleep in my bed with me sometimes and I thought it was funny. Never occurred to me that it might be seen as ugly and deviant.

Clearly there problem was with their OWN deviant thoughts... people have a habit of seeing their worst traits in those around them... EI a thief having the most paranoia about being robbed... somehow they felt that your 'crime' was something that needed punishment, but their crime of theft didn't... bloody hypocrite... and a sickminded one at that. Fraid I'd have notified the police, so that when that person called in they'd know just who the thief was... they might just be stupid enough to do it too.

I have a friend that purposefully puts her business info (she's a pet sitter) on magnetic bumper stickers and sticks them to her car for people to steal. She gets work from it!
