Seriously hoping she doesn't find a spot to lay eggs up there. She's a beauty, though.
She used the nesting boxes. That was an old picture.
Sadly I had to put her down this year due to cancer of the gut.

I trim my low branches regularly and use them as perches around the the yard and in the runs. Anything I can reach from the ground with my 6ft pole saw comes down.
Only found 4 chicks at lockdown. The missing cockerel was on the shed again .Had to chase him 10 minutes to make him go in.If he keeps this up much longer I'll leave him out and let the owls eat him

Sorry I laughed, but that thought has crossed my mind too, lol.

They're avoiding the coop because I've been out there working on it for days.Fortunately its all done so officially I'm finished unless I decide to add curtains or something lol
Mine did that when I rearranged somethings in the yard and moved the run into a shadier spot. After a couple weeks of using treats to lure them in every night, I decided they were playing me for treats. They would roost on the stair railing so I started 'making it rain' with a hose once they all got comfy. That method took two days, lol.
