That's one huge egg!

One of our hens-Probably the Orpington- laid an egg twice the size of the others. I heard a lot of commotion this morning. Is this ok?

if it's a chicken egg & HUGE compared to what they normally lay, it could be a double-yoker!

yup, we get a ginormous egg every once in a while, usually from the same hen too.
