but i did it again.

I wish we had a rescue here in the USA! We don't and it's tragic~

You to are sooo sweet to rescue so many and i am sure they will love you for years to come!!

And this is why i don't buy store eggs

I did just find out one of my transporters son supplies all the eggs to publix food store here in Florida. the wheels are spinning and i wonder

Thanks for posting the update with the pix. I had a REALLY hard time not crying (well, okay, busted -- I cried) with the first post, and have wondered several times since then how the girls were doing. The last pic shows them looking beautiful and happy and blessed. I daresay you have been and will be blessed by their gratitude and love as they have been blessed by your actions. Let their be blessing all around!

Okay, so I finally got round to taking some new pics. These were taken about 30 minutes ago. As you can see they look much improved! (and rather ermm... fluffy, I've just noticed. Well, they do say the camera adds a few pounds!)

What a wonderful thing you did!! That was no easy feat building a coop for that many chickens . . .in the short time you did it. Won't it be a miracle watching them learn what they were born with and never allowed to develop. I could hardly stand reading the part about the little hen telling you thank you. And people think animals have no emotions or love in their little hearts. Idiots.
