All 3 shots here, feeling great about it. Got the youngest her 1st last week, 1st day she was able.

What I don't understand is why all the hate. Hate for those choosing to be vaccinated, hate for those choosing not to be vaccinated.

How did our communities become so divided and people so selfish. What happened to your neighbors being just as much your family as the one you were born into?

If you receive any vaccinations, especially ones like the flu shot and chicken pox, why not Covid? Or at least mask up and not share it with those that can't make their own decisions-the children-our future.

your personal stories don’t change the truth about the vaccines, which is that they are safe and effective.

If they are so safe and effective, then why is it that in every case I put in my post, the doctors themselves said that the vaccines caused the issues? You trust doctors enough to put an experimental drug into your body, but you don't trust them when they say that vaccines have caused permanent injuries and deaths? I'm sorry, but that logic just doesn't make any sense to me.

if the shot messed you up, that’s a good thing. the worse your side effects, the stronger your body’s immune response was, and therefore the better your immunity from getting sick moving forward.

So, if the vaccine kills you, that's a good thing? Well, I guess if you're dead, you can't get covid, that's for sure.

short answer, yes.

longer answer: there are risks with anything you put in your body. i’m sure a quick google search will find cases of people dying after taking tylenol or amoxicillin, but we’re all comfortable with those risks.

longer and more problematic answer: you’re confused. the covid vaccines are neither experimental nor are they drugs. i can understand that you’re emotional about what happened to your family, but remaining uninformed or misinformed after it happened is simply inexcusable.

What people don't understand is, that this vaccine is not an experimental drug! It's been in the works for years. Why don't folks know this yet? They started working on virus drugs years ago..Sars being a big one. They took off with what they had started. And, not one vaccine in this world is 100%, not one. There's been breakthroughs with every single vaccine out there. There's been side effects with evey single vaccine out there. The facts of efficacy is what they go by. This is a world wide bug. The fact that hospitalizations have gone down is proof that the vaccine is working in two different ways. One being that a person doesn't catch it, another that they're keeping people from dieing. I have a son and daughter in law living with me. They both got covid. Daughter is still recovering. I'm still fine. Got my booster before my son got sick. There are a lot of breakthroughs more than likely because the first shots are waning. I believe the booster has helped me. Now. No matter what a person says positive about the vaccines, others will still be against them. No matter what. That is their choice. No one is going to change their mind. I wish everyone could just respect each other throughout this horrible time.Helping one another through hard times. That's how our country used to be. I miss that.
