I have one thing to ask of you all. Please do not take vaccine discussions away from this thread. This is a very controversial topic that is best kept away from the wider BYC community. Anyone who wants to participate in vaccine discussions will discuss it on this thread, but there are many people who don’t want to, so don’t bring it onto other threads.

I have yet to notice anyone doing this, but I am sure as this gets more heated people are going to want to start posting about this on the wider BYC community.

I think this is a very reasonable request. :clap
It makes me happy, even more so, that I joined.

I realize and am aware that some side effects can be life threatening but they are INCREDIBLY rare and, as i said earlier, no medication, or vitamin, or wholistic treatment, or essential oil .... is 100% safe for every individual in the world.

That's just not realistic. It's sad that there are those who suffer, no doubt. But the vast majority see tremendous benefit and well-being as a result of being vaccinated.

Proof?
Again, probably taking that info from the mainstream media.
I experience first hand that it is not "INCREDIBLY rare".
Here is the proof you requested. It's not from mainstream media and it's not from the US Government. It's from a network of health providers in Nebraska.

As of November 9 2021, Over 223 million people in the United States have been vaccinated. We have lots of real-world evidence – in addition to clinical trial data – to indicate these vaccines are safe, and that adverse reactions to them are rare.

What about vaccine injury?

Vaccine adverse effects (also called vaccine injuries) can happen. Some people have experienced allergic reactions after getting a COVID-19 vaccine. The rate of anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) was less than 5 people per million vaccinated. Almost all of these severe allergic reactions happen within 30 minutes after vaccination. When you get your vaccine, you'll be asked to stay put for 15 to 30 minutes. That way, you can be given treatment in the rare chance you need it.

The Canadian government publishes a WEEKLY report of adverse reactions to the covid vaccine. Unsurprisingly, they are also incredibly rare in Canada. Go figure.

  • The benefits of vaccines authorized in Canada continue to outweigh the risks.
  • Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the provinces and territories, and manufacturers continue to closely monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. We’ll respond to any safety issues right away and will inform Canadians about any risks that arise in Canada.
  • Of the 22,231 individual reports (0.038% of all doses administered), 5,653 were considered serious (0.010% of all doses administered).

Oh, look, adverse reactions to the covid vaccines in Europe are also incredibly rare! Amazing.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) monitors the safety of COVID-19 vaccines authorised in the European Union (EU) extremely carefully. This enables the detection of any rare side effects that may emerge once many millions of people are vaccinated.

  • Nearly 575 million doses of vaccines have been given to people in the EU and European Economic Area (EEA), as of the end of October 2021.
  • The authorised COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. They were evaluated in tens of thousands of participants in clinical trials and have met EMA’s scientific standards for safety, efficacy and quality.
  • The safety of COVID-19 vaccines is continuously monitored and evaluated.
  • Monthly safety updates give an overview of the PRAC’s regular safety evaluation.
  • The vast majority of known side effects of COVID-19 vaccines are mild and short-lived.
  • Serious safety problems are extremely rare.
@All4Eggz is all this (3 posts) enough proof for you?
