Ooh, he is gorgeous! I think this is one of my favorites that you have drawn so far.Polish rooster finished as of today.
That is unmistakably my Gracie! Cherry, your skills are increasing daily! ❤@BigBlueHen53 's Gracie. The porportions are a little off, I'd admit.
Do keep thrm Cherry, to document your progress.Apparently, Whitey has not seen my failed art before, and thinks I always get it right the first time. @JustBabyMargo knows the consequences of thinking that. RIP Chopin
I am going to show you guys my failed art AGAIN. I mess up too, especially with pen. Time to embarrass myself!
Here are the very few that I have kept. I actually have a lot more than this, but I don't usually keep them.![]()
No, yes, it is DEFINITLEY crooked. I am keeping it, since its in a notebook. I will give your dogs a try again, one day. I know I will. Collies, Aussies, and various shephard dogs are one of the hardest dog breeds to draw. They come harder for me. Definitely need to keep practicing them.Okay, I'll critique the Gracie one if you promise not to destroy it. Her bottom jaw looks a little crooked. But maybe it really looks like that?
ETA: I still love it anyway! It looks so clean, and has GREAT motion!![]()
Kikis dog is a stunning little champ
Cherry, I just found this thread so I am waaaay behind, but .... do you have any books on drawing faces? In art class in high school we learned proportions that really helped. If you could find such a book your art would really improve and you wouldn't waste so much time on trial and error. You have an amazing eye, but a little instruction would save you so much time! When I saw your drawing of Frida Khalo, I knew who it was immediately, it was SO good! (Could not call her name to mind immediately but that is beside the point!) Do you want me to see if I can find a book to recommend? You asked!
Some never made it pass the shading. The one in the middle scares me the most

You do remind me that I should pick up drawing faces again. Sure, I would love that! I love books, always looking for more!Cherry, I just found this thread so I am waaaay behind, but .... do you have any books on drawing faces?
