Oh, I told you I would suggest some books you might find helpful:
The Art of Drawing People is under $10 and is available used, just google the title.
Draw Real People is another one you might like.
There's also How to Draw Faces. All of these are under $10, in the $6 to $8 range.
I would like to see you get all of them, you could probably learn helpful techniques from all of them. Consider them text books for your art class, an elective in your curriculum. Not to mention an investment in your future. You could put yourself through college, taking a booth at the fair and whipping out postcard portraits of people or their pets for $10 a pop. You just need a catchy name for it ... Presto Portrait Postcards ... or something. Not that.
