I like to use photos of real chickens. In my opinion, it is never a good idea to copy another sketch. Everyone has a different style, so it doesn't make sense. I recommend using high quality photos. I like to find google images that I like. Then, right-click and press "open image in new tab". It blows up the image and makes it much easier to draw.

And no, you are not bothering me.

I’m having trouble with the eyes. Any ideas? If not, that’s totally ok, as you have helped me so much today already

This was my 2nd attempt to draw a “realistic” chicken head, but I think that it’s better? What do you guys think? My next sketch is going to be a full body sketch. There are a lot of erased lines, because It took a lot of tries….
