I have finished my drawing. Sort of. I decided to leave out the legs, cause I drew the TERRIBLY. I have done ply part of the feathers, and was wondering, should I continue these “feathers. All throughout the drawing? Thanks! P.S. to be honest, this is one of the best drawing I have ever made

What grade pencil do you use? I personally really like to blend. I draw the feathers like they are coming down. So like they are curving, not just straight.

I recommend just drawing the face first. Full body sketches are harder.

What grade pencil do you use? I personally really like to blend. I draw the feathers like they are coming down. So like they are curving, not just straight.

And just to add, SS are harder to draw in general. At least for me, in the beginning.

Thanks you for this info! I’ll try in a little bit (I’m working outside) and I am using this pencil, I believe it is a hardness 2 pencil

i didnt really know what hardness it was, so thank you! I am using this for now to practice.
There is nothing wrong with practicing with an HB. Do you remember my thread with my chicken sketches? Every single one was drawn with HB.
