Just wondering. I sketched a lot when I was younger and it always annoyed me that the pencil would smudge. I worked at an art store in my late teens and realized they sold products to prevent that and it blew my mind.

I do it because my mom stole my art out of my room once. She likes to show my aunts and uncles, but I do not like people touching through my art, especially without asking.

Might be something I may consider IF I draw something more interesting. Right now, they are just sketches. No color and not much detail.

Thats fine. Although index cards are super cheap! They are my go-to.

I have used normal printer paper before, but I do like to fold them in half and in half again before drawing on them. Thicker paper is easier to draw on, for me. I am planning to get a sketchbook with thicker paper in the future.
