The 10th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!!

The Cottages Assisted Living is back for the Easter hatch. Our residents are already getting excited since I set up the incubators this week. Monday we will set eggs to hatch Easter morning.

We hatch at 2 locations. and will be setting 64 eggs total. barnyard mix.

I knew all this waiting til Saturday was going to get the best of me. I just placed a order for the surprise box on crackle hatchery. I have been wanting to order it, but I was telling myself not to. To late now because this morning my thumb pushed that button . Now I'm going to have to explain this to my husband.

Lol think how I feel on that surprise box from cackle. They are 1 mile from me lol

Anywho, my bresse eggs got here today so now to find a cool dark place until Saturday. All are in good shape.

My eggs arrived today! I can't believe they made it from CA to WV in 2 days!
I would love to give a shout out to @TJChickens for the FANTASTIC packing job on these eggs. Not a single cracked or broken egg in the bunch and only a couple with loose air cells which is just amazing for such a distance! Thank you so much!!! Can't wait to set these.

If I set a day early will they still be counted in the HAL?

Did you get pictures of the packing?

Too many blame the PO but do not pack well. It is great to learn from others successes.

Eggs set two days before and two days after the set date will count
