My eggs are here

The breeder did a great job packing but 3 eggs broke. Might have been squished. Doesn't matter unless they were girls I suppose.

Still debating about setting any from my current flock. Maybe I should replace the 3 that were broken...

I hope they hatch well!

UPDATE I will be watching 8 eggs instead of 6 of my mix breeds of dominique silkie rooster, with Austra white, cuckoo maran and black laced Wyandotte hens!

The Cottages Assisted Living is back for the Easter hatch. Our residents are already getting excited since I set up the incubators this week. Monday we will set eggs to hatch Easter morning.

We hatch at 2 locations. and will be setting 64 eggs total. barnyard mix.

I think you asked about set days:

button quail: 16 days to hatch; set April 4th
coturnix quail: 18 days to hatch; set April 2nd
seramas: 19 days to hatch; set April 1st
other bantam and LF chicken: 21 days to hatch; set March 30th
bobwhite quail: 23 days to hatch; set March 28th
call duck and other bantam ducks: 26 days to hatch; set March 25th
pheasant: 22 to 29 days; set March 22nd - March 29th
mallard (derived) duck,goose, turkey, guinea, peafowl: 28 days to hatch; set March 23rd
goose: 28 to 32 days to hatch; set March 19th - March 23rd
muscovy duck: 35 days to hatch; set March 16th
emu: approx. 53 days to hatch - set Feb 26th (for you "serious" hatchers)

Can anyone tell me where to get button quail? I am going a bit crazy this year and trying to hatch a little of everything. I got 4 emu and the ducks incubator set so far. The chickens will go in tomorrow. I hope to set 150 eggs total. I really want to hatch quail too.
