Yes she is. I have no idea what she is, my husband got them from someone who was given puppies away on FB. The mama is the red one.View attachment 1732374

Awwww so cute!! They almost look like dachshund mixes? Or corgi or basset hound or something. The red one almost looks like a Rhodesian ridgeback mix except she doesn’t appear to have the ridge on her back but she seems to have similar color/markings. They are very cute though.

I have some eggs that are on day 16. Im pretty sure a few of them are bantam eggs. The small eggs are starting to move a good bit. What should I do? Lock them down now? Stop turning them? Are just wait til day 18? Help
Wait until day 18 unless you see pips. Stop turning them when you lock them down

So grabbed a random one of the 12 Bresse left in the incubator and saw great movement. Hopefully, the others are doing as well. Is it worth me even trying to candle the quail? I've heard you can't see much of anything in them.

With quail eggs I think it depends on the individual egg and how good your candler is. I incubated 13 quail eggs last fall. I have a candler that is pretty bright (500 lumens) and it's for all egg types so the diameter worked well for quail eggs. I couldn't really tell what was going on very well with a larger diameter flashlight (too much light spilled out around the eggs). Anyhow I could see pretty well into 10 of the eggs and could pretty clearly see which were developing on day 5 of incubation, the other 3 seemed like they had an extra layer of pigment (they had a sort of green glow as compared to the yellow/red glow of the other eggs when candled) and I really couldn't tell what was going on in those for the longest time (by day 15 I could see movement near the air cell on the dark eggs when I was candling before lockdown though).

My Crele, Cloe, is due Friday. I had another hen, Cocoa,

set Sunday, but someone ran her off or she thought 8 eggs was to many and the eggs got cold, so we had to put her back on the roost. :( She hates it. She is so tiny that 8 Bantam eggs won't fit under her. 5 barely does.

Just pulled 14 of the 23 banty eggs. Gave them almost two weeks but no development. After the first candling I should of pulled them I guess. Only one Blue Cochin out of 12 eggs is developing. The rest are Silver Duckwing and Ameracauna.
The Ancona Duck eggs are down from 22 to 14 developing. Some were doing good, but after the second candling, some had quit and a few had the blood ring. The lady Im incubating them for had them shipped. So 14, I think, is pretty good. Sure hope they all hatch but you just dont know til hatch day.
