I put the candler to the top of the eggs while they were still in the turner today. All 32 look good! There is movement in the double yolker, but it doesn't look like there are 2 in there.
That is a good way to candle them

Anyone else have some rockers in their incubator? I have a Gold Sebright egg that every time I walk in and look in the incubator is in a new position. I'll be surprised if it isn't the first one to pip.

And before I could even post this I caught a Silver Sebright start wiggling away. Lol These have been very active eggs.

I've got some rockers/wigglers. It's a little hard to tell because they are lying down on shelf liner for hatching but I've definitely seen a couple do some big wiggles occasionally, I love it when they do that! :D

Are people with chicken eggs set on the 30th locking down tonight, tomorrow daytime, tomorrow night or Thursday morning? I’m a little confused on which day is which.

I’ve got 41 eggs left and I’m a little nervous to candle and mark egg cells and get the turners out and lock down all st once. I was going to mark cells tonight and lockdown tomorrow night.
It depends on what day and time you set them. I set my eggs on April 29th at 8:37PM
so this evening around 9:00 PM I put them in lock down. They are due to hatch of Friday night!! I started with 27 eggs and locked down 14 eggs, 1 of which I think is clear. I do still have 2 of the eggs that I got from a fellow BYCer still in the running. Almost all of the rest of the dozen were clear. I also had a lot of clears from my flock.

I thank my lucky stars daily I was spayed in 85
:yuckyuck

I have a few eggs that have no veining or development In the bottom third of the egg and look different to me. They e been quite red for a couple days too, but I attributed that to maybe the extra light from the bottom. They’re larger eggs. All have Really active embryos. Are they maybe just a day behind the others? :fl

I guess time will tell. That wasn't very helpful was it! The only one that doesn't look right to me is the last picture.

That’s very unfortunate! Sorry. :( but they probably fill the specific breed orders first then put the leftovers in the surprise box and they must have had a bad hatch this week or something. Unfortunate but maybe next week will be better. :fl Although I find it odd they didn’t have any chicks whatsoever.
