My incubator is on a shelf in my bedroom, near the bed... theres just no sleeping after lockdown lol, don't even try. Last night, for no reason at all, I just wanted to check for pips, just in case! But also, didn't want to disturb my boyfriend, sound asleep. So, I sit up, streeetch myself so I can see into the bator , of course nothing has changed, all is well. Lay back down. Today, o my word, my neck hurts soo bad !! I'm not sure what to tell people... I uh was looking into my incubator and uhmm strained my neck.... :gigI can't tell my parents, they'll put me in a chicken-lady asylum lol...

:gig

I set some of my eggs on March 30 at night and some on the 31st. Tonight is day 18 for the March 30 babies. These are all silkie and silkie crosses.

I came home today and went to check on humidity and heard peeps!

Candled them and I have 3 that are in the air cell knocking!

So I put them all on lockdown and I’m trying to get humidity up. It’s at 47% and so I added another sponge.

I hope you can get some good pictures of them when they hatch!

12 out of 24 made it to lockdown today. Fertility is definitely a problem in my flock lol. The 12 that didn’t make it were all clears. Oh well, not that I really needed 24 more chickens- I’ll be happy with 12 healthy chicks!
I hope they hatch well for you!
