So I made a separate thread but I'll ask here as well since I'm needing it for the Hatch A Long. I need a new incubator. Haven't used my Farm Innovators for years and last time I did I had an extremely difficult time with it and a not great hatch. I was waffling between the Hovabator Genesis and IncuView All in One. Honestly I'm leaning more towards the Genesis as I've read reviews about it over the years and for the most part they are always good. The IncuView is new to me but I like the design and the fact it's plastic and not styro but that doesn't always mean it's better.

Anyone have any personal experience with these?

I have an Incuview. Hated it at first. You must have a room with stable temps. I put quilt batting or towels over it when my room gets cold. Mine is noisy. But i had my first ever perfect hatch with it. I had to learn how to work the electronic controls, which i find annoying. But it is easy to clean and it is easy to watch the hatch.

This sounds so fun! I can't wait! I have an incubator full of chicken eggs right now, my first time hatching eggs by myself, due to hatch March 1st! Just enough time to get the incubator cleaned and the bitties moved out to the grow pen so I can take part in the Easter Hatch-a-long! My Husband is going to kill me...but the incubator is quiet so if he doesn't catch me, he can't stop me! lol! :wee:lau:jumpy

I just read through the entire thread and have already learned a thing or two about quail sexing and the pet market in NY (apparently selling the sewer gators in the pet stores now, lol!) I can't wait to see what else I learn from the rest of the wonderful members!

Hova bator all the way! I used to have an old farm innovators too but once I got my hova bator, I never looked back! Now I have a big GQF cabinet and hatch every week in the old hova bator. Mine's not a Genesis, it's a 2362E, but it still works awesome!
