I thought about that after but he has all his other birds in pens so I’m guessing this is just an extra male. I’m guessing he came all the way to my place in search of a female. That is beautiful bird talk to neighbor again about unrelated girl
I saw one of those at the swap today, a male also.I was a bit late but I set 19 duck eggs. Some are over 10 days old but I really wanted to put in as many as possible.
Got a strange story for you all. I came home from picking up turkey poults and was setting them up in the barn. The chicks in the coop were being loud so I look over and see something bright yellow. Found an intruder.

I have a neighbor that I know has peacocks (have heard them) so I decided to go over and see if he was missing a bird. Turns out it is his but he just lets it roam. So I asked if he just wanted me to let it go. He said sure or “you can keep it if you want.”Now I have to make a decision. I’d feel bad letting him out to fend for himself but to keep him I’d need to find a female. He is beautiful so I’d love to keep him. I went ahead and put him in my quail run for now (they are in the barn because they got snowed out last week). Should say the neighbor was super nice and this bird seems to be in great shape so I don’t think it’s been neglected.
Maybe he has a few fertile eggs you could put in the incubator for the EHAL.I thought about that after but he has all his other birds in pens so I’m guessing this is just an extra male. I’m guessing he came all the way to my place in search of a female.
