If this egg make it to hatch I will be surprised. I have never had so many problems with a hatch. 1st problem temp dropped to 95 over night, not sure how long it was that low. 2nd problem my dog hit the plugin today when I was gone and temp dropped down to 90. Not sure how long it was that low because I was at work. 3rd problem detached air cells in 13 eggs. I got the temp back up and just hoping for the best

Don't give up hope just yet! You would be surprised by how much stress eggs can take and still hatch. :hugs I had a silkie egg once that I thought for sure I should've just thrown in the trash. It was a shipped egg with a detached aircell, shipped with no heatpack in freezing temps AND had a nice impact spiderweb crack where it banged against another egg while shipping. I figured it couldn't hurt so I patched the cracks with glitter nail polish and incubated it anyway. 19.5 days later out popped a very rambunctious white silkie chick! I seriously couldn't believe it. That was a couple years back and he's living the good life at a friend's farm now.

Side note: that was the second silkie egg I hatched that had a cracked shell. Lol The other was just a single crack with no other damage. It also turned out to be white actually. Funny coincidence.

Hey..is that Nn in your avvy still living?
No, he didn't want to listen, conform to the program, had a anger management problem.
Have three roosters and two hens hatched from him over white JG from last Ehal. Look the same but little bit bigger with slate gray legs instead of yellow(and so far good attitudes). Plan was to separate the biggest roo and the hens out of that coop for hatching eggs this Ehal. Didn't get a chance with the snow and freezing, so postponing setting eggs till I do.

:rant My dealer gave me faulty quail. Seven weeks, and still no eggs!!
 I’m apparently not hatching anything at this time. I am tempted to set duck eggs, but I have at least one duck that will take care of that later.

Hey now, don't you be spreading rumors about me! There's nothing wrong with my goods! :rant
They just know how to frustrate their owners :gig

Anyone else candle yet? I seriously have problems keeping my hands out of the incubator. At least my March hatch is a good distraction.

Out of my 9 eggs 7 are showing veins and tiny embryos. One I think is inferile and the other I put in a day later so maybe it’s too soon. This time around all my eggs are white or off white so seeing is much easier.

I’m waiting for tonight to candle a couple when I move a couple carton eggs to a turner and I’m so proud of myself. Lol.

Congratulations on 7/9 showing so far, I think it's so exciting seeing them grow! :D

I candle way too much, I candled yesterday too even though I knew nothing was going to be visible yet ( I didn't see anything as expected). Today I saw really nice starts in at least 7 of my 15 shipped silkie eggs. :weeI love how easy it is to candle in my brinsea by just gently placing my candler over the air cell, if I had to actually remove the egg from the incubator to candle I probably wouldn't candle this early (at least not with shipped eggs that have any damage to the air cell).

Yup. I spot checked 4 Marans eggs yesterday (day 2). With dark eggs I find the sweet spot for checking growth/fertility is 5 days but got curious. All 3 from my Black Copper pen looked fertile. The 1 egg from the BBS pen was questionable.

Check out these eggs I collect yesterday. Breaks my heart I can't hatch them. The question now is sell or eat.
