Thank you, its hard when you try to save them and cant! I "try" not to get too attached to any of my livestock but its hard sometimes! It always seems to be my favorites that something happens to...Ive got to stop picking favorites!!!

Part of love, is loss. To harden one's self to not feel anything to avoid hurt, as a travesty in itself. Our pets lives are finite, but they are deserving of our affections nonetheless. What piece of our heart they take with them when they leave us, is restored, if not renewed with the next one we decided to let into our hearts. Granted it is a different love, but in its giving, it's validated in its return. And it is returned to us whole heartedly and unselfishly buy them. For love is our eternal gift to this world.
