I want one for self defense, to target shoot for fun, shooting coons, whatever need arises. I don't like to travel or go camping without a gun. The pistol I have right now is a 22 pistol and is a bit big and bulky.

hmmm, the SD40 that I have is not big at all, and very comfy. but its very good, but not the best. If you want a very nice handgun, you will need to get a sig sauer, or a Smith and wesson. I have a smith and weeson (the one in the pic) and its very good! its only around $500, which is a very good deal, I ban you cause you have a 22. handgun!
