Two dozen more eggs came today! Running out of space!

Well, I finally went out and collected eggs from the RIR pen. Can you say nasty mud? I ended up tieing plastic bags to my feet to keep my shoes clean!

The mud stained the eggs so bad I can hardly tell what's what and the RIR eggs almost look like Marans eggs! Let's just say I had a good laugh at the color change.

I wish I had eggs to hatch for myself (all the chicks I hatch from my eggs go to the feed store), but I'm broke again. We just bought a crib and we have lots more stuff to get so there's no way I can order eggs, which means no EE or blue splash orps. Maybe next time!

I get it..duh..I yelled at my DH, check out this chicken! It has a feathery face, it's soo cool looking! Well, she is cool looking, she needs a doo..to keep the look!

I just got my 1st EE egg

I am jealous! I am waiting for my first olive egg..it may not be for a couple of months. Can't wait! That's a pretty egg right there!

I just hatched my first Olive Egger!!! From my own chickens, YAY!! I'm pretty sure it's a girl, so that means I only have about...5 months to get an olive egg. Geesh
