I wish I had eggs to hatch for myself (all the chicks I hatch from my eggs go to the feed store), but I'm broke again. We just bought a crib and we have lots more stuff to get so there's no way I can order eggs, which means no EE or blue splash orps. Maybe next time!

Congrats on the new house! How exciting! Did it take long to pick out? How many did you visit?

I'd love to have a house of my own, but at this rate, I've got to wait for a parent or two to die :-( Maybe I'll start playing the lottery... it's slightly less morbid lol

I just hatched my first Olive Egger!!! From my own chickens, YAY!! I'm pretty sure it's a girl, so that means I only have about...5 months to get an olive egg. Geesh

I am right there with you. My ameraucana are 3 1/2 weeks old....

Wow so many posts I read this morn, every morning I wake up super early so I can catch up on this thread Love that you guys are so chatty. And I am loving all the duckling pics I saw this morn. They arent in my cards just yet but I know one day I will break lol I think I want to try quail too.

SOOOOO Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!

My hubby is so sweet I woke up to an incubator this morn(gift from hubby) this is my second incubator he got me my first one for a Chirstmas gift <3 Such a good boy he knows what I like and hes feeding my addiction lol. Im lucky he got me one because Ive been saving eggs from my flock staring at them for a few days saying no you cant set them dont do it you already have eggs in the incubator. And I couldnt resist I tossed them all in yesterday(all 22, but I have a feeling more than half arent fertile). They will hatch just in time to clean the incubators and have them back up and running for this Easter Hatch Along

Loving this thread! Good thing I'm retired, lol! If I had my way, I'd have poultry of all kinds on my 3 acres with 2 ponds. Quail, turkeys, ducks, geese & maybe pheasants. How many will fit? I don't know, but would like to find out - hubby would be very afraid to find out! Lol! Need more coops! Let's hear what everybody would have if they could have! What would YOUR poultry dream look like?
