EVERYTHING would be my guess!

Awesome!!!!! I'd have 5 weeks inbetween my next hatch and this hatch :D So excited!!!!! I'm going to do Some Danish Brown Leghorns, Maybe if my Ducks are laying, than maybe some Duck eggs XD
oh what are Danish Browns?????
Sure, I will, count me in also. Incubator will be already running. I have eggs coming to hatch. Will be setting so they hatch during the mid week before set day on the 9th. So I will just sterilize it and set some more:) my wife is going to kill me, lol not really we miss having the little fuzzballs. And my boys love it. Oh by the way its 23 degrees this morning.Brrrr! The hatchalongs are fun to see fellow chickenholics enthusiasm. Sorry for rambling, need more coffee. Going to get some!
She wont kill you! She loves you! BRING ON THE FUZZBALLS!! Yay!! AND LOL
I wish I'd be able to join, but alas my sister is getting married March 30th, so the whole month of March is going to be hectic! I'll be lurking around I'm sure. Y'all have fun!

OH ASPEN!! I wish you could figure something out! It wont be THAT hectic will it???
Hoping I have a broody by then (I don't do incubators). I have one that I think is thinking about it, so I'm crossing my fingers and praying for a broody!! I love my cross chicks that I got last year and can't wait to see what happens this year!!
Praying for broodyness in a timely manner!!
I really want to do this but is it ok to use mixed breed eggs? Do they have to be pure bred?
YAY mixed are fine!! You will have so much fun!!
So excited! We are going to join in this time and give it a try!!! I will have to be looking for some more eggs to add.... Off to the hatching egg forum I go!

I'm new to this whole "hatch-along" thing... Do we just set eggs at the same time? Sounds fun! I've never hatched eggs before... Should I give it a try?

It always happens, I say I'm done (that's right I'm not hatching one single chick this year) and then something like this comes along and I just can't wait!

Sounds like fun. I am so addicted.

Looking forward to this hatch-a-long.

Sally..how are the chicks? Are you all done hatching?

Cute eggs..
A few silkies are in the bator, not sure if fert or not, and button quail we never did buttons and they dont candle so not sure how that willl work out!
My duckies are HUGE and stinky and MESSY and I SOOOO WISH I COULD put them out in the shed at least!!! But they are sweet but they eat alot, does that sound like I am still unsure of duckies??? LOL

Hmmm... I think I'll try to join this year! I don't have an incubator, but I've got three silkie hens, one which has been showing signs of being broody! Now, what to hatch? Ducks? Maybe even attempt quail? Or more chickens?
I hatched ducks last summer and we rather enjoy them!! Winter, cold and water = duck weather!! THe eggs are delish, and the drakes don't give us much of a problem. I vote go for the ducks!!

Quote: I sooo get it!!! We didn't get power back so DH took them to work to hatch. . Turns out that turned him on to chicks and chickens as he had to play caretaker to the first early bird that wouldn't stop chirping unless it was sitting with DH. He slept with the darn think sitting on him!!
