Rooster booster dry measurements pleases, the container states 1 oz to 16 gallon, what does that mean for one gallon

Whew, it took me forever just to catch up with two days of you guys posting!

I decided to enter into the short story contest - first attempt at public writing so be gentle :p.

On a related note: woohooo! My marans hatch has at least 4 good eggs at day 8!

Cynthia I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have tried numerous times to do this it keeps going in to my HP photo viewer no mater where I save it and I can't copy it from there.

Send it somewhere else..to your pictures? Where do you save your pictures? That's where I put that, then I could get it from there. If that one doesn't seem to work for you, there are a lot out there. Just google..something like..putting signatures on my photos..see what comes up..have fun checking them out. A few are free, a few want money, but not much. I am going to go find one that I really liked. Here is an example of what I did with it..now I can't remember the name of it. Cotton, is the name of my Silkie. Looking now. I am not much help in not knowing which one it was. I will ask a daughter that I sent one to.

I stopped feeding the fermented feed for now. It was just too hard with it freezing in the winter. I was never sure that they were gettng enough! I do notice that since I went back to the dry feed, I was using WAY less feed when I was fermenting it... And they were drinking WAY less water, which in MN in the winter is nice to not have to worry about frozen water... So frozen feed or frozen water??? Hmmmm... Which is the worse one to worry about?? I just want to know that they have feed available to them at all times so they can produce enough energy to keep warm.... Maybe I should go back to the FF but provide them with free choice dry too??

I think I worry too much...

Prim is recovering from her cut very well, and her little guy with the bad feet is still with us. He still gets up and walks a bit, just not very much... Nothing much has changed with his feet in the past few days. My kids keep saying he is moving better... I'm not so sure. But keeping a full grown chicken and 7 3 month old chicks in a small brooder in the kennel building is not going to last for very long! They can all get out of the brooder and fly around the building! But they all come right back to the brooder, and Prim stays in there all the time... I can't cover it because it is WAY too small to confine them in... I'm not even going to think about what my kennel building is going to look like when this is all over... It needed a good cleaning anyway! How I wish I had a spare horse stall in the barn to put them in...
