I'm new to this forum and wonder if it's still possible to connect with someone who might be able to send me eggs for the Hatch-a-long. I live in Columbia County, NY and only have hens, no roosters, in our yard.

Thanks for any help!

Did you locate any eggs? Are your AMs pure or EEs? Reason I ask is I have some eggs that will be Olive Eggers and didn't know if those would offend you. LOL I also probably have some EEs too, since I have some of the birds running together.

OK, I have to many eggs and I'm to worried that fertility won't hold on some, like my Silver Pheonix and my Chocolate AMs. I need those chicks, so I may set a few this weekend and then go for fresher eggs as the hatch gets closer. In the end I may have just EEs, OEs and some of my lavender egg project eggs and whatever pures I collect towards the end.

Save? Set? Save? Set?

OMG! I'm so confused!

Ha, Sally, I had to go back and see who that sunshine was.. It's you! Pretty Cute!

Been collecting every egg that has been laid by my only duck that has started back up since the 'winter strike' Penelope, a Cayuga!! <3<3<3

Very excited, couldn't contain myself and have been setting chicken & quail eggs every few days now!!!

Ugh! Up so early! Eggs pipping, brooder not set up, no starter feed, pile of wood needs moved, spell check doesn't like a lot of chicken raising words!
At least I don't have to "work" (am I allowed to use a four letter word?) this weekend!

Since I have a broody I am going to see if she will hold out till the 10th, but she's a newbie at being broody so she might quit soon if she doesnt think its for her.
