I'm a first time incubator: So I see in a few photos that some people have double stacked eggs on the turner. Does that work? They won't roll around/fall off when it turns? (Very excited if it means I can fit more eggs next try.

Candled my Mallard egg last night. It has the veins growing but everything is towards the fat end of the egg, not centered at all

. Tried a couple of the brown chicken eggs I set, Couldn't see much, the white eggs I can see through, but nothing going on yet.

Just got caught up! Phew!
Cute Doberman pup! She's gonna be a big one! I had a boxer once. Breeder had the ears taped too. Was necessary at the time if you wanted to show it.
The baby goats be killing me!!! Cutest goats ever!!! Me want!!! All I want are goats & poultry. Too much to ask?
Love those bunny bun/cookie pics! Reality is never as good in that case! Lol!

Good luck to all of us hatching. Day 3 for me. Checked a couple eggs. So far so good!

Anybody got tips for candling Marans eggs?

I had a few vein like that in my last hatch, they were odd but they did hatch

I have 5/31 pipped .... One is trying to zip but it pipped closer to small end than the fat end:-(
Actually 3/5 that have pipped are closer to small end (whine)

That happens a lot with eggs that are tipped fat end up. It's normal.
