Happy Valentine's Day!
My hubby gave me a mushy, teary card, chocolate Cadbury eggs (#1 favorite) and parts to fix my Rcom20 incubator.

He may not love my chickens, but he must kinda like me...

My fiance just went to get the wood to build me a brooder for inside because our doggies are not chicken friendly so rubbermaids on the floor aren't safe and my batch is starting to hatch today! I can't wait for it to be finished!!!

Wow you guys are so lucky! For Valentine's day, I got a joke about buying a horse from Tesco (there's been a scandal about hidden horse meat in burgers or something) and a subway for lunch. I'd have loved some hatching eggs, even really cheap, old ones that wouldn't hatch, but it'd have been a nice thought!

Is there a course on romance I can send my man to?

Be careful what you wish for... Last year (Lord I hope he doesn't see this) DH did all this stuff in the bathroom, big bubble bath, rose petal soap, candles, a teddy bear, beautiful card, left me in there alone to relax alone with no kids. Sound nice? I sat there mentally adding up all the money he spent, and all the chicken things I could've bought with it. Instead, I smiled and said how thoughtful, and lovely it all was. For a solid year I asked for chicken anything, statue, knick-knacks, keychains, chicks, and as of yet, NOT A ONE!! Some men just don't get it!

Well worth getting flocks tested for many reasons!!

I tested mine as it is free in Massachusetts. All tested negative for pullorum and AI. I'm going for a closed flock.

The best I will get is a silk rose-- which I actually do like because it lasts forever. SOme men get it others don't-- not the worst thing in the world IMO to not get. I will make the flourless chocolate torte today because it makes me happy-- and I"ll share .
