There are whole threads talking about roosters wanting to set eggs. Crazy but I guess it happens. It certainly does with other breeds. Is it possible for roo's to go broody?
so they werent your turkeys?I just walked into my bedroom and glanced out the window. My first thought..............how'd the turkeys get out? Nope, a flock of 31 full grown turkeys walking by. Of course when I opened the door to the deck they all moved to the far side of the lawn, but it was quite a sight.
I think he was trying to entice her into the next generation............LOL
