The 4th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long

That is such a sweet sound! May I ask what kind of thermometer you use. I am just recovering from a really bad hatch using 2 brinsea therms that were off.Last year I hatched about 30% with different therms and thought Brinsea would be better but not so. I am asking everyone I can about their therms. Hope to see baby photos soon.

Busy chick day yesterday!
15 little chicks in the brooder! out of 17!
Local EGGS ROCK!
2 still in hatcher
1 stuck w/ feet over its head in air cell & assisting, as it couldnt pip externally but its looking great!
and 1 cochin notta yet!​

Some of my eggs are at post office and i believe the second is stuck in PA. Cute little chicks you got there Sally. What will you do with all of them?

Meet the newest Easter Egger to the barn.... Pancake​

Hatched this morning. I'm so excited he's from my OWN flock

​

He even has the puffy little cheeks! He's so darn cute.. (His/Her name is Pancake, cuz he/she looks like pancakes with syrup and butter all over them)​

So cute!!!! Congrats!!

I love the digital acurites for the bators and the round kind for in the brooders, they are usually spot on!
