I didnt know they were female/male. When i looked at them they looked the same. We are separating them today. they didnt look like they were killed, more like they were frozen. Will they kill them somehow that we cant tell by looking at them?

There's a possibility that she's rebred again too. It only take 5 seconds. There's a chance they froze to death.

WAHOO!!!! well i started with 36 eggs and

dropped one the first day putting them in the bator ....
and so i candled the 35 that have been in there 14 days and 32 look GREAT ..... 2 were late quitters and
i took them out .... one was really rotten the other had died recently .....one i left in there it had progressed
but i couldnt get movement but thought i would leave it till day 18 just to make sure!!
All the air pockets look great and are growing larger pretty close to the model pic....
we are very excited

and can hardly wait till lockdown.... there are 2 eggs that look like
they are farther along than the others so maybe i will have a couple hatch early

Well, it's taken 2 full day for my Barred Cochin eggs to cross the border from Ohio to Pa. 3 if you count the fact that they were dropped off at the Post Office on the morning of the 4th. Estimated date of delivery the 7th.

Last month I ordered eggs from Oregon that were then back tracked to Washington State and arrived at my Post Office clear across the country in Pa, after just 1 day in transit. Is there any rhyme or reason here??

Dont worry! for the NYD hatch BHeps eggs to me got lost for a week in the mail and 6/11 hatched.

Most of the time they will eat them and you would never know they were there other than the from the hair missing around the females teats which she will pull out just before giving birth to them......Sometimes they will just abandon them and the elements will kill the little "pinkies" if she has another batch of babies (which takes only about four weeks 30 to 32 days) leave her be for the first week till the pinkies get fur and open their eyes. then introduce yourself slowly a little at a time over the next week after that all should be fine. Sorry for the loss.......
