barred rock eggs weighed, numbered, charted and set at 1:30. I think it may be done storming, so hope the power doesn't go out.
coturnix quail eggs to come next week to add to the hatchalong.

Little less than an hour and a half to go. I'm upset that the blues and greens weren't showing up well. They look so washed out and I was so happy with them. Well most anyway.
This thread is so long and I am on my Mobile so it's hard to reply and not loose my place catching up but I just had to reply to this lol Those eggs are pure eye candy!!!! I am just starting out .... But to have an egg color assortment like that eventually is my dream!! Wow Those eggs are gorgeous! Congrats!

I just now found out about this thread and I am setting a large hatch today in my sportsman. I'm at my daughters softball practice and ill update with details when I get home. I'm planning to set around 75 eggs (mostly Polish).

My eggs were actually set last week (18 Guineas) and then this Thursday for the shipped in group. I set 14 Breda and 13 Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock eggs. My total for the hatchalong is 45 eggs. I will try to post the photo when I'm not on my phone.

Welcome!!! Come 21 days from now there will b a great influx of chickens!!! YAY!!!!

I set one lonely call duck egg last week, then 10 serama, 1 d'uccle, 2 goose, and 8 duck eggs today. Although the ducks and geese will be a bit late, so guess my total is 12 for the hatchalong.

Kids will be excited for hatch on Easter. Will post photo tonight after I get done building my coop extension out of pallets. (got to put these chicks somewhere)
