you know I saw an image on this thread of a broody hen in a mini van! I wanted to comment but then forgot!
Can someone tell me if she moved to a good spot ok??

Add 12 Coturnix Quail eggs to the contest.

Had the others for breakfast,:p,
Hope I made the right choices for my hatch rate.

QUESTION
Button Quail! this doesn't embed in my mind, I am sorry!
But what day is lockdown for them?
Harmony added some last week and I need to mark calendar! Any incubating tips appreciated too!
Boy those tiny eggs are a pain to turn, I am afraid I will break them!
whenever i incubate button quail i stop turning them at day 14 and they hatch on day 16. and i don't hand turn them- i break a few each time i try so the brinsea octagon has been a miracle to me since i load them once and just turn the whole incubator. the coolest part about them is how quickly they hatch once they start, one minute there is one or two pips wait an hour or two and you will have 50 fluffy chicks running around.

Set on the 14th. They only need 16 days to hatch.

My jumbo coturnix just started laying this past weekend. Only collected 3 eggs but they were added to the 53 chicken eggs today at noon. Grand total 56 eggs set.

ya i do the same as if they were chicken eggs just different incubation time. at day 14 of incubation i "lock down" and add more water to add humidity and on day 16 they all start popping out. I have never been to specific with my humidity just add a bit more than before and it has always worked for me. someone else might have a better "instruction guide" i usually just wing it. lol
