Darn, shockwave crashed and I lost my quotes.

Thank you to whoever it was that gave me the info on the time it can take from internal pip to zip. I haven't even hit the 24 hour mark on when I noticed it yet.

I finally got up the nerve to help the stuck RIR chick. I now have a happy little chick keeping the one that hatched company! I have another working on zipping, but still nothing from the game eggs. Normally they would have started by now.

I have 8 Chicks out and pipping everywhere, And 2 of the 5 BCM are coming out soon

Gorgeous FCM eggs...where did you get them?

Ok, my hatch is over and I have 17 BC Marans, 8 Buckeyes, and 4 d'Uccles(29)! The problem is I do not remember how many I started with. Does anyone have it written down some where? I know I throw out 1 d'Uccle, 1 buckeye and I think 1 or 2 Marans eggs at lock down and I just threw out 1 Marans and I think 8 Buckeyes that did not hatch. I do not remember if I threw any out at 10 days when candled. Oh my, what else am I forgetting?

And I will get a picture but my camera's battery is dead....

Someone probably already directed you to page 1. You set 49 eggs.

Help! I have a baby chick that hatched about 4 hours ago and he can't stand up. He try's to but as soon as he stands up he falls sideways and rolls on his back, then he is stuck and can't get up without assistance. What could be the problem? This is my first time so I don't know much about chicks Heath and such.

Have 2 hatched and 11 more pipped, plus one malpositioned pip I think quit. :( First one out was a NH, quickly followed by a SFH (pictured.) Locked down 25, so we have sloping night ahead. :)

All of a sudden there are two chicks out and one fully zipped, resting.

NC won't be lonely any longer in its brooder after tonight! (NC is NewChick, a day old found alone on the floor of the coop three days ago, but no broody hen would take it, so I brought it inside. Even with a fuzzy binky and a small mirror, NC cheeps REALLY LOUDLY. The first night I held it against my body in a fold of the heated throw. But I stay up much later than chickens, so NC had to go back under its EcoGlow.)

I can't open the incubator now to gather up any friends for NC, so you'll have to be satisfied with pictures of the first chick I ever brooded against my body.
