Another pip! That will make three olives - and they are on day 19 for those who wonder. I think my olives will hatch and I'll be sitting around anxiously waiting for my marans to hatch for a few days!

Omg!!!! Was just about to go to bed and heard a noise. ..eggs are rolling and chirping! !!!!! Yeah! !!!! 11:15pm...yup no plans of going to sleep now...ughhh wish I wasn't working tomorrow! !! So want to wake up kids!!!! Woke up DH...he rolled over smiling and back to snoring lol!!!!

Well, this morning, on Day 19, I woke up to finding 4 pips out of my 28 eggs I put into lockdown yesterday. Tonight, I have 3 chicks out, and 1 more has pipped tonight, so 2 eggs that have pipped today. So, I have 23 eggs still waiting to hatch, 2 pipped, and 3 chicks!

I am beyond excited! First time bator, went through all the ups and downs of the LG incubator. Last night when I was moving eggs for lockdown I was astounded by the heft of my Marans eggs, I never candled them, WAY too dark even for our mag light LED. Best (or most disappointing) Easter weekend ever!!!

I'm at day 20 (19 if you don't count the first day of set) & there's no internal pips yet. Comparing to my notes on my last hatch, these chicks should start pipping sometime in the middle of the night.

For those of you like me who are waiting, hang in there. Within a few days you'll have your fluff butts to cuddle!

I would go ahead and move it - I opened mine- everyone hatched . They probably Can move it tho- but you may feel less stresss lol

lol!!! Maybe I should take a cat nap. I know I will fall asleep during my hr+commute in the am
