I rarely ever snatch them out.If so its as i am evaluating viability of eggs left on a drawn out hatch.

The stability of the hatch environment outweighs my need to hold a fluffy butt.

Chicks will be fine in the hatcher for up to 72 hours.
I think our hatching environments are way different.
I have been taking chicks out for a long time, years. Have had wonderful hatches, until this one!!!

Another thing we are different in, and I know a lot of people do this, but I don't give my chicks the electrolytes unless they are weak, then they get it separately. If mine are going strong..I don't give them anything but nice clean water. Mama hen doesn't carry electrolytes under her skirt.

MY TOTAL...4...WHAT?! OUT OF ALL OF THOSE EGGS! THIS JUST MAY BE MY WORST HATCH EVER! EVER!

I AM PRETTY SURE, TOO WARM IN THAT ROOM, FLUCUATED A LOT WITH THIS SPRING WEATHER CHANGEING SO MUCH. AND, I NOW HAVE TO WONDER ABOUT HUMIDITY.

Oh wow. That must have been some really tough shipping! Is there a chance more will hatch?

Happy, actually, there were a lot of clears. :(

I got 2 chicks hatched and one pipped and cheeping....more than I expected....none of the blues have pipped that I can see though, but it's still early going.....
