Hello everyone, I'm new here but am *IN* on the Hatch-a-long... Sounds like the most fun and my incubators are due to hatch next week so will be right on time for the set date..

Yum....eeeeeeeee. I would like to know more on the process. For starters what type of milk did you use? I am sorry if you mentioned in earlier posts.

I had two of my girls eggs this morning with spinach and feta.

I forgot just how frustrating it is waiting for eggs to hatch. It's only day 4 and I'm already hovering over the bator when I'm home. It'll be good for me to be gone 2 days. Get my mind off of it...maybe...actually I'm fairly certain I'll be worrying the whole time I'm gone. Can't believe I'm doing this 2 times in a row. These guys are set to hatch the 26-27 then I have to turn around and reset for the Easter hatch. I seem to enjoy making life difficult for myself. It doesn't help that hubby is complaining that I need to stop getting eggs because he doesn't think I can sell the ones I don't plan on keeping. I keep informing him A: We don't know how many if any will hatch and B: This is rural WV. There are plenty of people who will buy chicks. He thinks that everyone will buy from the feed store and not me, he also forgets the feed store stops selling chicks soon after Easter. I love my hubby but sometimes I just want to knock his head against the coop.

I am very tempted to spend my day "window Shopping" TCS and the other local feed stores, just to look at the cute chickies.

Anyone else think that might be a bad idea.
