Last year I did 56 mile hike in 5 days on the Pacific Crest Trail with my son. (high altitude hiking at 8,000 feet) We met many hikers hiking the entire PCT trail, and it was so interesting talking with them. They started at the Mexican border in April and were hoping to end the trail at Canada by October 1st. This years hikers will be starting up soon.

The most beautiful hiking trail in the United States is "The John Muir Trail" going from Yosemite valley to Mt. Whitney. Part of that trail is the Pacific Crest Trail. Right in your back yard.

Yosemite is beautiful!

Not a day trip though--It takes 4plus hours do drive there from Woodland.

Im sad some of mine are blooming we always get a late freeze
That is exciting when fruit trees start blooming.

Im excited for my apple trees to bloom again. I planted 2 trees 2 years ago and 1 tree last year. Last year we got 5 whole apples from one of the trees. Doesn't sound like much but we were so excited.
