Celebrity Look alike Contest!
5th Annual 2014 Easter Hatch-a-long!

Post a picture that you took of a domestic fowl that looks like a celebrity.
You will also need to post a picture of your look-alike celebrity for comparison, although you do not need to take that picture (just don't break any copyright laws in your quest!). You may photoshop the pictures slightly, but only to add props or background to aid in your look-alike.

ANY domestic fowl accepted!
Our BYC Judges will choose 10 finalists,
and then YOU vote for your favorites!

I'm in! Not sure yet on what all I'll be hatching. So far I have about a dozen Heinz 57 chicken eggs and 1 duck egg. I'm also getting some serama and mini NN eggs.

An update on my wrong-end pipp. I very slowly chipped away at the pip hole last night, using flat tweezers and the q-tip gently to re-moisten the membrane. The beak was already out, but I think it just went too long like that. She didn't make it. She had really dark beautiful markings on her, too.
I have one egg left in the incubator, which I candled this morning. No movement. If I get back from work today and it still hasn't hatched, I'll probably give up on it too.
I did get the one chick, who is mighty lonely right now. He hatched Sunday. There were only three eggs that made it to lockdown.

My husband offered to go to the hardware store after work and pick up some friends for him. Our state minimum is six.

Yep, they can be loud little buggers. I can hear mine all the way across my house. Luckily, the DH sleeps through it.

Yes she is house trained she has a cage she uses the bathroom in the garage. The floor is acacia wood, my parents just built our house last year.

Me and my sister bought her last year and surprised our parents.lol they did not like her at first but now they do.
