We're going to set a mixture of mutt chicken eggs. However many will fit into the egg turner.

Some BCM x EE for olive eggers, and the rest will be covered by our EE roos or our BCM roo.

Hens include: RIR, Buff Orphintgton, SLW, GLW, BCM, Delaware and EE. I'm sure I missed at least one breed.

OK, this is not good, not good at all... The fan unit in the top of my main bator keeps coming loose from the screws. I am heating up the cooler bator right now, going to transfer the eggs before the unit falls and crushes an egg or a chick. I don't understand how this happened....this is a brand new unit that I just put in and the screws are stripped already?! Think I am going to try to add some glue to try to help hold it together. Must get it fixed before the main event!

IF the glue doesn't hold, you might consider wiring it up. I used long twist'ems, 4, one at each corner. THe greates dificulty was finding a suitble location to attach to the fan without interfering with function. ANd then slowly  punch 4 holes in the lid to slide the twistem's thru.  twist 2 together to secure.  ALlows for variation in positioning. too. GOod luck. YOu have a few days. . .

Ok ill see how this holds first but might do that just as a back-up plan incase... Thanks

I want to join! :) Susan

What are we looking at here? Sorry it isn't clear on my phone.
The 3 ducklings I had in my living room are now in what I refer to as Spa La'Garage. They are in the first pic in the left corner of the cage. The ingenues way to keep them from soaking all the shavings and hay is in the bottom pic. A tote box with the side cut out and a cooling rack in the bottom with food and water on top of it.
