The P.O. just called! Guess what eggs finally made it here?!

Shows mailed the 25th, only 10 days out is all. I asked if the box smelled..no, she says if it did I would throw up. I am so sensitive to smells! I am picturing her putting the box aside as she says this.

I'm glad they were found.

Question - what day do I candle for "Day 7"? I set them last Saturday around 2pm. So does that mean after 2pm today starts the 7th day? Or do I wait until tomorrow after 2pm? I'm not sure how this works

And from what I've read if I see any clears I could choose to leave them until Day 10 as long as they don't smell or weep or anything...

When is everyone else going to candle??? I can't wait!!!!!!

Wow, they were probably sitting somewhere. Are you going to try and incubate them?

Not sure what to do..I think I'll know better once I get the box open.

If it isn't stinky, and none are broken by some miracle..I will candle them later and see.

Candle on the days in the cart and compared the air cell size. Adjust humidity accordingly.

If you set on Saturday at 2pm, this coming Saturday at 2pm is day seven. (You can candle as soon as day four, or right now if you want to,... I know I did.)

Yes, I would leave clears (or those you can't see into) unless they weep or smell. My brown eggs and even my blue eggs are really tough to see into at all.
When you candle, you may see some light veining- or what looks like a long-legged spider inside (that's the veins and the embryo) But if you see nothing, don't worry too much at this point.

Last night we had a storm and I think it tripped my surge protecter. (Either that or my cat did it) either way, I know it was running at 2 am. When I checked it at 7:30, the air temp was down go 73! Should they still make it?
