Up here in Michigan we have Record Lows forecast for tonight - NEGATIVE 17ºF!!!!!!

Not to mention that it is only 6 degrees now and we have 40 MPH wind gusts, making the wind chill around NEGATIVE 20ºF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO SICK of having to break ice and take out fresh water or hot kettles of water to melt the ice for the chickies 2-3 times per day!!!

PLEASE let it warm up even a LITTLE SOOOON!!!!!

Holy crud! I'm going to need a intravenous drip from this thread to keep up.

Lisa I will try to get you the pics of the birds I got from you from last years Easter hatch today. Looks like today is going to be a nice day then back to a few more days of lots of snow!

I just can't get a break from it. I had to get a dozer to plow me out on monday and we currently have 3.5 feet of the white stuff on the ground now.

the "Weather Channel" just removed any sign of spring from the ten day forecast for Kansas City

Same here. We had a few days in the high 40s low 50s(that's warm to me) and them agh back to 20s and single digits.

Here in VA we have cold temps too, and I am absolutely SICK of it!!!! A couple of days ago we hit 71, then back to 20's and 30's. Tonight's low is 17, tomorrow's high 33. My NYD chicks are driving me BONKERS...8 weeks old, fully feathered, should be out of my den by now! I need a break before it comes time to put the Easter babies in there...and so does my hubby! One of the 2 Tolbunt Polish in the brooder with my babies (my mom's...when we got them they were old enough to be outside, but it was just too darn cold, and both of the Tolbunts are handicapped) let out the worst crow I've ever heard...and HE was supposed to be a SHE. I've heard him chasing my babies around the brooder...probably trying to mount them, and they are just too small!

Please, Lord, make the cold weather GO AWAY!!!!!

Well I wiggle checked that old emu egg, and I think it MIGHT HAVE WIGGLED It was very slight, but It just may have! (don't worry I'm not getting too excited lol)

Last I heard ronott1 is on day 20 of a hatch,has heard chirping, but no pips so maybe a little preoccupied.
