I have a frizzle roo. He is just a barnyard mix guy. But I love the look of the feathers. Lol my dad thinks he is ugly.. I don't.

I think he's cute/handsome..does he give you fertile eggs..wait, let's rephrase that..does he do his job getting the hens..wait..is he making fertile eggs..oh well, you know what I mean.

He does when Chief ( my SS and head Roo let's him near the girls!) I have to separate them with hens I want them to be with. Bolt is my frizzle Roo ( he is really fast when he runs) this is Chief.

I think I saw here earlier that someone recommended adding vinegar to the water in the incubator well to keep in from getting gross. Does anyone know how much is a good amount? tbs/gal? or more?

They are both beautiful birds! I have to be honest though from the pics you provided I like the look of Ben Franklin a little more.

Ok strange question I know, but does anyone know what kind of grass grows best on clay soil? We have been working for years to try to get grass to grow in our yard. Oh, also, it is mostly shadded in the summer. Sorry but I am just totally frustrated with no grass and all mud!
