The 5th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Well here I was...almost 2000 posts behind! And then....I discovered Ron's Daily Digest thread!!! YAY Ron, You rock!

I've got some partridge Orps going into lockdown this week, I had some temperature spikes of 104! with the Little Giant, but bought myself a BRINSEA for future hatches, I sure hope some make it. Next group is going under my faithful broody and best girl, 'Popcorn' who I have more faith in than a BRINSEA. Have an awesome day everyone!

I was too busy to Digest the NYD Hatch a Long. It takes a bit of time to compile the Digest but it is helpful to many of us.

YAY! I need my silkie girl to go broody or I cant do this hatch!!!! UUUGHHHHH she was just broody 5 weeks ago. im so mad! do you think she could go back under her mother influence by the 29th?

I NEED them to....my family is so tired of me talking of 'stupid' chickens.
1) chickens are not stupid
2) I NEED more birds as layer to start my high school job and sell eggs this summer for hatching and such....OH GOD.

well, my mom for sure would not like having marshie go broody.....but I think I will just make her.....somehow.

I was looking at the calendar last night and chatting with my wife and realized that I'm going to be out of town the last week of the hatch...my wife wasn't pleased when she found out that she might have to do something with the eggs...so my daughter (27) will be taking care of them for lockdown and hatch!
