I can only imagine incubating so many eggs!

I thought this was rather interesting....although they DO get thrown around ALOT. this must not be very healthy for them......LOL

I just thank God I never had to grab and toss baby chicks for a living! That must be dreadful for one's spirit to have to do that all day.

I AM MAD.

YESTERDAY MARSHIE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO GO BROODY THE LAST DAY THE HAL WAS OPEN FOR SET EGGS. WELL THAT LITTLE FLUFFY IS AS BROODY AS CAN BE AND WONT MOVE HER WARM LITTLE BUTT. OH MAN. I AM MAD. why not one day earlier!?!?!?!?!?

I specifically told her I NEEDED her assistance in hatching because I needed to go to the beach memorial day weekend! therefore, I NEEDED her to take care of chicks for me. I needed a broody to participate in the hatch, but now I have one and still cant do it because IM ONE DAY LATE!!!!

Well if it's any consolation, I don't have anything but a couple of lazy chicks. Nothing even close to a brooder! But I think I may purchase an incubator. I've been researching....my husband may just throw me out. He specifically told me- do not become the crazy chicken teacher at school! I think it may be too late!
