Number 32 the awesome one from yesterday. It was jumping around like crazy.

And the porous egg. It's different from yesterday but doesn't look like the others.

Sorry they aren't as good as yesterday but the camera didn't want to cooperate.

I set these Anconas at noon today.

Wow i didn't know people did this type of thing i'm assuming that this event is still open until Easter? If so i'll be setting 6 eggs hopefully before next Monday 3 Rhode island reds and 3 assorted bantams

It goes until Easter yes. The set time for eggs to hatch by Easter was the 29th..minus and/or plus two days. You are too late to enter into any contests, but you are welcome to come on in, and ask questions, or add some knowledge of your own. Or, have fun making conversation. Lots of conversation going on.

I'm so surprised, 7/8 of my chicken and duck eggs are still kicking! e The Brinsea is doing it's job! Although, it's towards the end that it likes to screw with my babies, so we shall see. I haven't bothered candling the 10 quail, because its near enough impossible to see through them properly. I'm especially excited about one of the bantam eggs..it's from a silkie, is her first egg ever (and fertile!), AND could potentially be a showgirl. Here's hoping they keep cookin'! Especially that one.
